Upcoming Training Session

SafeTALK – June 16

SafeTALK is a FREE, four-hour training that teaches participants how to recognize suicide warning signs, reach out to people having thoughts of suicide, and connect individuals at risk to a resource using the TALK steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, Keep Safe.

The skills learned in SafeTALK can be used to support anyone who might be at risk, whether that be a friend, family member, coworker, student, client, or neighbor.

All Shasta County community members who are 16 years of age or older are welcome to register for SafeTALK. CEUS are available for select professions.

The next SafeTALK training takes place on June 16, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Redding, CA.

Registration is required as seats are limited! Contact YouMatterShasta@shastacounty.gov or call 530-229-8426.
