Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR)

All medical and behavioral health professionals can register for the FREE suicide prevention training Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR)!

AMSR includes two training options to accommodate all professionals. Please see below for details:

  • Two-day training for medical and behavioral health professionals: Learn to make relevant, meaningful treatment decisions for people at risk, and discuss strategies for providing compassionate care. This training is for medical providers, nurses, licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, and therapists. NASW and APA CEUs available. Next training is on October 17 & 18, 2024. 

  • One-day training for direct care staff: Feel confident navigating challenging conversations and providing compassionate care to people at risk for suicide. For those who support patient care but do not assess or treat (e.g., case managers, teachers, peer specialists, nurse assistants, etc.). No CEUs available. Next training is on October 21, 2024.
