We’re glad you’re here!

The You Matter Shasta website gives you tools and resources to help prevent suicide. The Shasta Suicide Prevention Program designed it to be informative and easy to navigate.

it's ok to ask for help

Like any other part of the body, stress, trauma and illness affect the brain. It is common to experience mental health challenges. In fact, about half of us will have a diagnosable mental health condition within our lifetime. It is important to remember that asking for help is not a sign of weakness or a character flaw. With treatment and support, people do recover.
